Welcome
In September 2007, more than 1,000 Eastminster volunteers came together to serve others in our city. We knew that God was at work in our lives and our community. And we prayed that this spirit of serving would continue. It did.
Eight months later, Eastminster teams again spread out across Wichita to paint, to repair, to clean and clear -- all for the Lord. By 2008, Serve & Celebrate became a September tradition for our members and families.
Our fifth Serve & Celebrate event will be held Saturday, September 25. Join us as we labor together, laugh together and serve together in response to God's Word. |
Key Dates for This Year's Event
1. ORIENTATION will be held Thursday, September 23, at 6:30 p.m.
Eastminster volunteers will gather for prayer and worship then meet as project teams to receive important instructions. Your team captain will give you directions on where to meet for your project, your T-shirt (if you ordered and paid for one) and details on what tools or supplies to bring. 2. SERVE for the event on Saturday, September 25.
Choose to serve 8 a.m. to noon, 1 to 5 p.m. or all day! Rain date is Saturday, October 2.
